Joining Flour Communicators has been one of the easiest transitions I’ve made – despite my ongoing battle with technology. The members welcomed me with warmth, patience, and the kind of kindness that instantly puts a new person at ease.

A special shout-out goes to Marcy Field, who met with me one-on-one and walked me through the Toastmasters website and EasySpeak. I’m not exactly known for my tech skills – if there’s a wrong button to press, I’ll find it – but March guided me through everything with the calm of someone who has rescued many confused souls before me.

What really struck me, though, was the enthusiasm club members bring to their speeches. Their energy is contagious, and watching them made me excited to grow my own voice. The constructive feedback has been thoughtful, encouraging, and incredibly supportive. I’m grateful for this welcoming community and look forward to many more inspiring meeting.
