Christina Kruis, DTM
Member since 2005
Looking to get involved in her community, Christina joined Fluor Communicators while her young children attended school. Serving on the executive in several roles, evolved into joining the District Leadership Team.
She is passionate about Youth Leadership and helped create the Fluor Management Speech craft for Fluor managers. She has supported new club start-ups, High Performance Leadership Projects, Training, Club Open Houses, Conferences, Alignment, Procedures and Contest Committees. Her favourite role is recruiting and developing leaders. Her enthusiasm for the program is strong and the people continue to inspire her to learn new skills and grow as a person.
Benjamin Zhang, CC, CL
Member since 2017
Ben has been a member of the Fluor Communicators Club for many years. He originally joined the Club back in 2007, took a brief hiatus and has been with the Club steady since June 2019. Ben believes that Toastmasters is a magical program that offers tons of opportunities to help improve speaking, listening and leadership skills. Ben took on the role as club Sargeant-At-Arms during the 2019-2020 program year. He says he gained so much from that role because it provided a sense of ownership of the Club and helped him become more comfortable when speaking at the club and beyond. Ben also took on the role of chairperson for the first-ever virtual Table Topics Contest at the Club level.
For 2020-2021, Ben took on the role of club Treasurer.
Muhammed Sheikh Ahmed, DTM
Treasure of Division C, Charter President of Awakening Toastmasters, an inspiration and driving force of the Awakening family. Evaluations being one of the most loved, does not stop fellow members from being amazed with the wonderful and passionate speeches as well. Working and growing with passion as well as motivating others to follow their passion and what they love the most. Interests and hobbies include calligraphy, listening to religious songs, cycling, playing football, and many more. Favourite Quote – “Without hard work, nothing grows but weed.”
Muhammed Saeed Sheikh Ahmed
Being the youngest Toastmaster of Awakening, loves delivering quality speeches which inspire the audience to aspire. Having the interest towards building communication and leadership skills, also loves reading books and sharing his experiences and ideas with fellow members. In addition to this, he is a great aspirer of Formula 1.
